One of the world’s largest hotel chains Intercontinental Istanbul HMG Group has choosen Enerwo Investment for decreasing the overall energy costs. Enerwo is constructing a natural gas fired CHP power plant to Intercontinental Istanbul. The installation will be an indoor with a waste heat recovery steam boiler.

 

The system will produce 10.000.000 kWh electricity with over 5.600.000 kg steam production for laundry annually. The Combined Heat and Power (CHP) system will produce heat as hot water, electricity and steam with a single source of natural gas.

 

The system will be commercially in operation in early October with a bypass system to the existing working system of the Hotel. The existing grid connection and the boilers will be the backup system of the new CHP system with fully automation and synchronization with the existing system.
